Highlands, three islands, and the city itself — a day each.
Three days with a clean split: one in the highlands, one at sea, one in the city. Enough to see North Sulawesi without rushing, and short enough to fit a long weekend.
The first day climbs into Minahasa — Tetetana Peak, Lake Tondano for lunch, then Lake Linow, whose colour shifts through the day. The second leaves early by boat for Nain, Siladen, and Bunaken, three islands in one crossing. The last day runs slower: souvenirs, a loop through the city, and a stop at Makatete Hills to see Manado from above before the airport.
